We are currently seeking a skilled HR Professional to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Bristol. Your role will be to manage and oversee all core HR departmental areas of the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all HR practices, processes and strategies
- Managing complex employee relations, including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy
- Protect the Company and develop coherent business processes relating to employees
- Oversee processes and policies to make sure they are fair for all employees
- Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy
- Onboarding of new employees
- Recruit new employees according to specifications set out in a strategic plan
- Managing the recruitment and selection process
- Maintaining and improving HR systems.
- Understand and develop the company values in line with trends and needs, goals and long-term objectives
- Oversee employee engagement, wellbeing and learning amp; development to foster better working practices, inclusion and service delivery to the Company’s clients
- Support, coach, guide and develop Line Managers across the business to understand HR processes and people management
- Keep all HR Policies and Procedures including the Employee Guide Book fully updated to reflect current legislation and best practices
- Manage employee records using the HR System and work with the development team to enhance the system
Requirements
- Previous experience in a HR capacity (Director level)
- CIPD Qualification preferred
- Positive attitude
- Proven experience in change management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
- A proactive approach to meeting set standards and objectives
- Organisational skills enabling you to prioritise and set realistic timescales and deadlines
- Self starter looking for a role which offer autonomy and personal development
- Experience within a manufacturing company is highly desirable
Hours - Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm (with a degree of flexibility)
Benefits
- Salary of Circa 60K - 80K per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
- 25 Days Holiday + 8 Days Bank Holiday
