About the Marketing Team:

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking for a hands-on, exciting experience in a fast moving, tech scale-up.

Reporting directly to our Retention Manager, you’ll be responsible for executing the retention strategy on a day-to-day basis, including the end-to-end production of email communications, automated email programmes and social media support for both our B2C and B2B propositions.

You’ll be working closely with the Retention Manager to build a great customer experience and influence our retention rates. A sharp eye for detail and copywriting skills as well as strong project and process management skills will be very valuable.

You will also be looking after our Refresh amp; Retire program, developing new ways to optimise the process and track its performance to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

Life as a Retention Executive at Onto:

As a Retention Executive at Onto, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to retain customers and improve Onto's bottom line. Your main tasks typically include:

  • Developing and implementing email marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Monitoring customer behaviour to identify when customers may be at risk of leaving and identify potential issues.
  • Managing Onto's loyalty program to incentivise customers to remain loyal to the company. This could involve developing promotional campaigns, and measuring the effectiveness of this program
  • Analysing customer feedback to identify areas where the Onto can improve its communications and service.
  • Collaborating with other departments such as customer service, operations and sales to ensure that customer retention strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
  • Collaborating with product development teams to identify new features or products that could help retain customers.
  • Executing other retention strategies such us social media, forum and community management


Ideally we are looking for:

  • In your previous role(s) you’ve directly executed email marketing campaigns.
  • You have a dependable eye for detail to help with proofreading, providing feedback to designers, and checking sales reports data.
  • You are an efficient multitasker, able to support with multiple retention projects.
  • You are collaborative and open to feedback, adapting and fine-tuning content.
  • You are comfortable manipulating data and running ad-hoc reports in Excel/Google Sheets to extract actionable insights.
  • You are an all-rounder - both a creative thinker interested in design and presentation.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have but not necessary:

  • HTML knowledge.
  • Interest in sustainability, and electric cars in particular.
  • Desire to develop a career in the digital marketing world and subscription-based companies.
