We are looking for someone to be remote based with occasional periodic travel required from time to time.


What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Director you will be supported in enabling the business to secure the right talent, skills and behaviours in the right roles at the right time.

You’ll coach and mentor a team of two to drive the TA strategy, making sure we are attracting talent in the short, medium and long term. You’ll help the team to craft creative talent solutions to real business problems.

You build credibility with your stakeholders and are recognised as a TA expert by your peers, your team and business area(s) and provide an exceptional hiring manager and candidate experience, whilst bringing innovative ideas to improve ways of working, hiring processes and talent acquisition to your areas and the wider team

This is a broad and varied role that will require strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and people management skills.


Typical activities can include:

  • Being a strategic business partner to the hiring teams and People Business Partner(s)
  • Inspiring, guiding and mentoring junior TA colleagues to be the best they can be.
  • Creating and executing the day to day talent acquisition strategy.
  • Supporting business continuity by hiring talent with succession planning and career development in mind.
  • Contribution to the functional employer brand strategy.
  • Ensuring the efficiency, quality and exceptional experience of all those involved in operational recruitment.
  • Ensuring that talent acquisition strategies support the Damp;I agenda.
  • Ensuring the use of effective assessment and selection processes.
  • Day to day management of the PSL.
  • Coaching and supporting hiring manager.
  • Use data and insights to make decisions, set expectations and influence.

Requirements

  • Strong track record of recruitment delivery ideally in a tech environment
  • Experience in designing and executing varied TA strategies
  • Supplier Management experience
  • Team Leadership amp; engagement
  • Assessment amp; Selection; Employer Branding; Talent Pipeline
