As a dynamic and innovative company offering exciting opportunities for progression, we are seeking to appoint an Operations Manager to work with our high-profile Clients within our Fire Safety Service department.
Main Purpose of Role
Accountable for management of scheduling for fire safety consultancy contracts, identification of required staff resources to meet contract schedules and monitoring/reporting progress against the schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Successfully managing contract scheduling according to the client specification and Tersus’ operating standards, liaising with clients ad staff, ensuring optimal service delivery. General point of contact for client day to day operations.
- Mobilising new contracts and clients alongside the Tersus Client Manager
- Supporting department heads in the management of the team
- Supporting the department heads and contract leads in resource management including optimising resource deployment. Maximising staff utilisation rates
- Ensuring directly or via delegation that all business as usual tasks are completed on-time including day-to-day queries and work allocation.
- Ensuring cooperation with the Quality Manager to ensure the quality processes required of a BAFE accreditation are met and quality levels continuously improved
- Working with the Quality Manager to ensure that the resources deployed to a contract have the appropriate competence
- Capturing and recording information relating to contacts which aid with contract delivery by technical and administrations teams
- Provide regular reports on schedule delivery and KPIs and providing such data to Clients
- Proactively assisting in any complaint investigation
- Working proactively as part of a team and with other internal teams (including Commercial, Quality Assurance, Safety and Finance teams).
- Identifying new business opportunities and representing Tersus at client contract meetings, tender interviews, trade exhibitions and conferences.
