Carpenter / Joiner

We are seeking an experienced Joiner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of joinery works on sites across Scotland. You will be working mainly on domestic properties, both void and occupied.

Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
• Measuring, cutting, and shaping timber for various joinery works, including door and window frames, stairs, skirting boards, and architraves.
• Install work in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Working with other tradespeople, to ensure that works are completed to the required standards and on time.
• Maintaining accurate records of materials used and works carried out.

• NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on maintenance and refurbishment joinery works.
• A background in timber preservation or rot works would be highly beneficial
