However, these platforms require constant optimisation, development and support to ensure they are leveraged effectively and we are creating the new role of Commercial Operations Technology Manager (EMEA) to deliver this. This role will work closely with sector teams to define KPIs, create best practice models, drive experimentation and support adoption as well as liaise closely with group IT and data teams to build long-term product roadmaps.

From motor shows to Europe’s largest gaming show, you’ll work across the EMEA Clarion portfolio managing some of our key sales technology platforms. Day to day you will work on problem-solving solutions in a dynamic environment, working across both marketing and sales.

You will be responsible for helping to build and run a multi-million-pound revenue stream by enabling our sales team to sell badge scanning technology and empower our customers to collect valuable data insights and leads through training, webinars, process documents and on-site support. Working with one of our leading registration platforms and their data collection application will allow our customers to easily track leads they have met as well as allow Clarion to further understand our visitor’s behaviour and analyse key visitor information to make every connection count.

Another platform is our conversational marketing tool. It will be your responsibility to identify and support training needs amongst the sales and marketing teams - with emphasis on unlocking capability, reminding colleagues of best practices, developing new ideas and aiding the commercial team on systems amp; process adoption.

The Candidate:

We are looking for a technology evangelist with an understanding of how commercial amp; marketing technology powers excellent customer experiences and drives strong outcomes. They will have extensive understanding and demonstrable examples of optimising tech platforms, taking users on the journey of adoption and experimentation and a strong emphasis on documentation and performance benchmarking. Communication and collaboration will be critical to success in this role as well as a bias for action to support our ambitious teams. If you are passionate about achievement, driving revenue streams and working with internal stakeholders as well as customers, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage system amp; support process adoption and find creative ways to promote compliance with established Clarion processes and implement and adopt new processes.
  • Deliver training amp; coaching to increase user confidence by ensuring proficiency at all levels.
  • Build a reference library to create and maintain internal and external training materials.
  • Onboard new users into utilising internal tech products.
  • Work cross-functionally to facilitate effective communication around products, training initiatives and process changes.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and work with teams across the EMEA business and identify areas where extra training is required.
  • Create and implement training across teams or work with external partners to deliver training.
  • Work closely with the business applications team to identify areas where improvements to the system can be made through feedback from end users be the voice back to the business
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our commercial technology products, considering market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and business goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer pain points, opportunities, and trends. Monitor and analyse competitor products and strategies to inform product positioning and differentiation. Identify new market segments and potential business opportunities.<
