Front End Engineer (Novation Components)
Based: London, High Wycombe, or Remote (UK-based Only)
Term: Permanent, Full time
Salary: 40-60k pa + excellent benefits
The Role:
We are seeking a talented Front End Engineer to join our Web Engineering and Product Development team, with a primary focus on implementing outstanding user interfaces for our cutting-edge music production platforms and tools. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing, user-centric web applications that prioritize intuitive interaction and seamless integration with Novation hardware. Your expertise in crafting high-quality, secure, and well-performing front end code that adheres to engineering standards will be essential. As a key contributor, you will work closely with other developers, product design, and hardware engineering teams to continually enhance the user experience, ensuring our customers enjoy a world-class interface for our innovative products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build, deploy, and maintain web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Implement features driven by user stories and aligned with product design.
- Review code of other engineers to ensure overall code quality and collaboration.
- Ensure code delivery is on time and meets required quality standards.
- Develop scalable and secure solutions to support growing user base and services.
- Evaluate technical architecture and explore new technologies and practices.
- Assist with DevOps tasks and infrastructure as code, when required.
- Work closely with the product design and hardware engineering teams.
