JOB TITLE: Site Mamp;E Supervisor
LOCATION: Marlow, Buckinghamshire
SHIFT PATTERN: 42,000 per annum
SALARY: Monday Friday, 08:00 17:00
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
A unique role for a forward thinking, client facing electrically biased supervisor to work on a beautiful Estate on the bank of the river Thames. The site is extremely unique with grade 2 listed buildings and modern refurbished commercial office space for a valued ABM customer, we are looking for the successful candidate to pay attention to detail in the ongoing maintenance and planning to ensure that the campus is kept in a compliant and excellent order of repair.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day to day management of CAFM system.
- Supplier and subcontractor management.
- Hands on electrical works for PPM, reactive and minor installation works.
- Day to day management of 2x site fabric engineers.
- Maintain the excellent working relationship with the client.
- Minor project management of smaller inhouse projects.
- Attendance at client and monthly contract meetings.
- Ensure effective communication for requests and updates.
- Obtain best value from suppliers and evaluate contractor costs.
- Hamp;S management of attending contractors in conjunction with ABM amp; SAS policies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous suitable experience working within an FM/Mamp;E corporate environment completing Multi-Skilled PPM and reactive tasks - Site specific training will be provided.
- Previous experience of supervisory roles in building services within a corporate environment.
- Honest and trustworthy with great communication skills.
- Organised, committed, and dedicated to achieving high standards across the board helping to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Flexible when required with working hours, some out of hours works may be required - Ability to prioritise workload.
- Comply with all ABM/Site specific Hamp;S policies and procedures.
- Eligible to work in UK, with a good standard of both verbal and written English.
- City amp; Guilds/NVQ - Building Services Engineering or Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent.
- City amp; Guilds 18th Edition IEE or 17th and working towards 18th.
- Previous experience in in the operation of BMS systems, AC plant, AHU, Boilers, pumps, and lighting controls.
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent.
- A demonstrable knowledge of building services engineering.
- Customer service, smart appearance, presentable, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Calm and logical thinker who is customer focused.
- Able to work unsupervised and within a team environment.
- IT literate with Microsoft i.e., Teams, Word, Excel. Training will be provided on all ABM internal systems.
- Excellent understanding of health and safety with experience in RAMS review for contractors and permit to works.
- Onsite support and assistance with the fabric teams for client requests when required.
- Full UK driving license.
Desirable
- City amp; Guilds Electrical inspection and testing.
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (Training will be provided).
- IPAF / PASMA (Training will be provided).
- ILM or equivalent management qualification (Training will be provided).
- Previous management of water hygiene for in house and specialist sampling, L8 qualified (Training will be provided).
