This role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on QA Lead who is ready to take responsibility for a small team of QA Analysts, working across the company on both client projects with the likes of VW, Lucid Motors and Mitsubishi, and on our software products like SpotLight, Palette and Omnistream.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of QA processes and standards, and experience with software as a service platforms and cloud based applications.
We are looking for someone who is ready to progress their career to the next level and take on management of the QA function, working closely with the Client Projects team to ensure QA coverage across the company whilst also focussing on the personal development and growth of our team of QA Analysts from mid to senior level.
Requirements
Requirements of the role
- Experienced in running all aspects of QA processes and a well developed understanding of quality standards.
- Software as a Service platform and cloud based applications knowledge.
- Qualified to ISEB / ISTQB Foundation Level.
- Experience of exploratory testing and ability to design and execute effective test cases independently.
- Experience with third party integrations and in-house developed systems.
- Experience in agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication skills, working closely with developers, project managers and other stakeholders.
Technical Requirements
- Good knowledge of GiT workflows and Best Practice.
- Experience of testing integrated front end solutions with APIs (eg, restful/JSON, SOAP/XML) and working with opensource API tools such as Postman, Swagger amp; Fiddler.
- Experience using various development tools such as Automation tooling, continuous integration environments (Jenkins), JIRA/JIRA Agile and confluence.
- Experience testing software across multiple browsers / devices (using tools such as Browserstack).
- Knowledge and experience of both functional / non-functional including accessibility and security testing.
