Responsibility:Support vehicle program in providing guidance and technical oversight in vehicle passive safety, crashworthiness, occupant safety.Lead the development of entire vehicle FEA models and run full vehicle studies.Validate model inputs and assumptions via experimental data and using grounded first principles.Coordinate with contractors for model build in vehicle oversight.
Experience: 5+ Years of professional experience in passive safety including simulation and analysis and working closely with design engineers, engineering passive safety leads, test engineers.Collaborate with Vehicle Engineering in setting requirements for passive safety and setting appropriate DVP.Experience in creating FEA passive safety models for entire vehicles and running simulations, writing technical reports and providing insights to vehicle programs.Great knowledge of first principles for validation of prototype designs.At Arrival we want all of our employees to feel comfortable bringing their passion, creativity and individuality to work.
