Opportunity

We continue to push the boundaries of possible for the Open Banking universe. Using data to enable better insights, products and offerings for customers.
To be a core member of our Data Science team. Be a technology enthusiast whilst working with great technological enablers to service our customers.
Develop and help commercialise analytical solutions that deliver practical solutions that can be productionised and scaled to meet our customer’s needs.
Collaborate with business (Product Manager) to develop an understanding of needs of the market, customers and internally the teams themselves.
Build data ingestion pipelines and deployments.

Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns matched against business needs.
Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis.
Communicate findings to all stakeholders.
Enable smarter business processesand implement analytics for meaningful insights.
Keep current with technical and industry developments.
Strong internal and external communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

Extensive experience in data science/engineering with a proven track record in delivery.
Strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. (DataBricks tooling)
Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modelling experience.
An ability to turn concepts into tangible outputs. Taking discussions through to production.
Experience with Python, SQL, Azure ML, C#
Familiarity with writing clean code that supports our development standards, is testable and maintainable.
Comfort working in a dynamic, delivery-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects.
Proactive management of individual tasks alongside an open collaboration with the wider team.


NOW WE ARE GETTING GREEDY
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or related discipline.
Experience working in the financial sector (ideally Globally).
Experience of working in a growing and evolving business with the customer at the core.
