We have a challenging and exciting opportunity in our London office for a talented Senior Graphic Designer focused on Branding to join our growing team. This is a newly created role, giving you a chance to make an instant impact and play a significant role in an early stage of a fast-growing company.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years in a fast-paced company
- Degree level education in a related field (graphic design, packaging design, illustration or product design) or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable experience in taking a design from concept to execution
- Proven experience of building effective relationships and managing stakeholders within various internal departments and external collaborators
- Excellent working knowledge and efficiency in Adobe CC Suite; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator are essential, alongside knowing other software like Figma amp; PowerPoint
- Experience in video or animation (After Effects) is a big plus
This is a hybrid role so you must be able to commit to 3 days in our London office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Head of Art amp; Design to produce and develop the brand’s visual identity and manage design requests for the company
- Developing visual concepts and designs that align with the brand's visual identity
- Design for a variety of touch-points, ranging from digital, print, packaging and spatial applications
- Provide design direction for design initiatives by researching creative solutions, demonstrating a high-level awareness of consumer/market trends
- Work on brand focused design projects from market research, strategy, concept amp; design development to technical information packs and final artwork execution
- Work both independently and closely with others to develop outstanding creative solutions
- Where relevant, support junior team members ensuring all work is complete to required standard and adheres to brand guidelines
- As required, clearly present visions, ideas and pitches in both formal and informal settings whilst confidently communicating the design rationale and technical aspects of a project
SKILLS:
- A strategy and brand-identity focused graphic designer with both creative and technical mindset, that can tackle a diverse set of design challenges
- Strong design and visualisation skills including typography and layout, and a passion for visual design across a breadth of media
- Ability to present work in a clear, confident and engaging way
- Creative problem solver with strong attention to detail
- Strong written and spoken English with creative copywriting skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects end-to-end in a fast paced environment, essential
- Ability to tell a compelling story and communicate it via a broad range of digital, print and spatial outputs
- Ability to develop new and innovative concepts and translate them into a storyline through strong graphics and creative direction
- Strong team spirit, can-do attitude, self-motivation, not afraid to roll-up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get a job done
