The Role
The role will focus primarily on delivering the internal audit of business and operational risks, with the occasional opportunity to undertake IT audits working alongside the IT audit team.
Team Hybrid Working Style
We are very proud to offer one of the most flexible hybrid working arrangements in the industry!The expectation for this role, will involve a minimum of one day each month - working out of our London Bridge office.
Key Accountabilities
· Delivery of business/operational audits including:o Preparation of the audit planning memorandum for each audit. o Completing independent risk and control analysis. o Designing audit test programme. o Maintenance and compliance with industry best practice and standards when completing audits and related activities. o Execution of audit testing. o Closing out audits and reaching conclusions from the fieldwork with business owners. o Preparing high quality reports for Internal Audit Director’s review and finalisation. · When required work with the Co-source Audit and Advisory Partner. · When needed assist and support the wider Audit team to deliver other audits and assessments. · Develop and maintain relationships with the company’s key stakeholders across the first and second-line functions. - Active contribution to the refinement and improvement of internal audit processes and activities.
You'll Need to Have
· Ideally audit (IIA) or accountancy (ACCA/AAT) or equivalent. · Experience within regulated financial services covering business and financial processes.
