At no cost to you (funded by the government), e-Careers will train you on all the fundamentals for being successful in a retail environment.
Equipped with this knowledge as well as free access to our exclusive recruitment workshops, you will be able to confidently apply for retail roles.
Working in retail is an exciting, challenging and highly stimulating role.
Once you gain some experience, you can fast-track into many types of career within retail.
Typical tasks include:
- Approach customers and sell products.
- Process customer payments and refunds.
- Maintain window displays and signage.
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints.
- Ensure products are presentable and clean.
- Receive deliveries and conduct stock checks.
- Be aware of shoplifting and payment or identity fraud.

Requirements
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
- Be willing to complete our short online ‘Retail Operations’ course (around 4 - 6 weeks of part-time online self-study).
- Be hard-working with a good attention to detail.
- Be a good communicator.
- Should have the right to live and work in the UK.
- Be 19+ years old.
