Job Description

We’re hiring for a HR Advisor to join a well-established, family run business based in Perth, Scotland.

Reporting to the Head of People amp; Development, this role is suited to someone with HR Advisory experience who is looking to further their skill set and develop within a fast-paced, growing, global organisation. Key duties amp; responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Head of People amp; Development to ensure successful execution of the People amp; Development Strategies, including the Learning and Development (Lamp;D) Strategy. ·
  • Work closely with Group Administration on any HR admin requirements, including the drafting of letters. ·
  • Support, guide and educate managers, supervisors and team leaders on employee relations issues as required. ·
  • Provide expert frontline support, advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and team leaders on employee relations issues (including disciplinary and grievance), recruitment, flexible working applications, performance management, learning and development and any other related area as appropriate
  • Conduct any investigations and disciplinary meetings as appropriate
  • Assist in the upskilling of managers, supervisors and team leaders in people management and related topics, such as employee relations, absence management, performance management etc.
  • Manage the Company’s HR system (HiBob), ensuring all holiday allowances and data entries are accurate
  • Conduct annual audits on employee personal details, ensuring files are accurately maintained
  • Collate and monitor TOIL requests and run monthly TOIL reports for the Head of People amp; Development
  • Process and manage ad hoc Occupational Health referrals as required, holding welfare meetings with employees and line managers to discuss report amp; outcomes.
  • Run weekly absence reports to monitor Company absence levels and identifying key trends

Requirements

  • HR Degree or CIPD qualification
  • At least 2 years experience in a HR capacity
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
  • Positive, enthusiastic, energetic amp; Solution-driven
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT literate
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge and its application.


Hours: Monday - Friday (40.5 hours pw) plus hybrid options available
