Job Description

To support the implementation of a significant Global New Business Intake (NBI)Transformation Program Dentons is currently recruiting an Interim Global NBI Business Analyst. This position will report to the Global Head of Operational Efficiency and the NBI Program Director to support the implementation of the IntApp Open System and the development of a series of improvements to this system.

The Dentons Open System has been implemented across the majority of the Dentons Regions and this role will be required to support the implementation in the remaining regions, primarily ASEAN, LATAM, Caribbean amp; Africa. In addition, as the system has been in use for several years across other Regions (UK, ME, EU, HK, US amp; CAN) there is a prioritised list of Optimisations and Efficiencies to be developed and implemented. The incumbent will support both work streams with requirements definition, documentation of test scenarios, help train Dentons employees and support the Global Head and Director in driving progress forward.

This Program is truly global, supporting a consistent approach to risk and the Global Business Acceptance Policy. This is critical to the efficient operation of the global Firm, allowing new business to be set up quickly both within and across regions. It will also support business insight, giving a forward view of incoming business and a greater insight into sources of business.

Key Deliverables

Support the global process leads to:

  • Engage Global amp; Regional Business Acceptance Teams to define "as is" and "to be processes.
  • Work on various Optimizations and Efficiencies initiatives which require definition.
  • Develop Functional amp; Business Requirements and document these to support the development / implementation of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Work with key Suppliers to ensure efficient estimation and delivery of the required activities.
  • Ensure that processes are aligned to the overall Global Dentons Conflicts Policy and work with the heads of Function to agree compliance. Writing reports, instructions, and specifications and creating flowcharts.
  • Support the work streams during the business engagement phase.
  • Document use case scenarios and test scripts for SIT, EVT and UAT testing.
  • Acquiring knowledge of products or services provided by the Risk Team to the business.
  • Incorporating user suggestions into projects.
  • Facilitate a successful release handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Program and Functional Leadership to deliver the global ways of working.
  • Support the Program and Functional Leadership to deliver the operational and transaction reporting and performance metrics.
  • Support the definition of user access rights and security within Dentons' Global guidelines.
  • Support the definition of the reporting suite (transactional, operational, and control amp; compliance reporting)

About You

Significant experience and a proven track record in/as:

  • Experience analyzing, creating, and modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
  • Strong situational analysis and ability to articulate the true requirements.
  • Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus.
  • Be able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others.
