Job Description


NMI is looking for a Senior Manager of People amp; Culture! In this role you will work closely with functional teams and senior leaders to develop and execute people strategies that enhance our culture and support our organisational goals.

In this highly collaborative role, you will be:

  • Designing, developing and executing on, both local and global People strategy and projects. Collaborating with other People Leaders to drive future scale and growth of the business.
  • Leading UK HR Operations; providing ongoing support to the leadership team on people-related matters (e.g. people policies, employee relations, benefits etc).
  • Partnering with global leaders to develop and implement people plans and solutions to achieve business initiatives.
  • Championing NMI’s culture, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Managing a small, but highly capable team.

This role should begin on, or around August 1st to allow for a handover. The initial term will be for 14 months.

At NMI we operate a ‘remote first’ culture so this role would be largely home-based. The ideal candidate would live within a commutable distance to the Bristol office and work from there once a week to allow for collaboration with the teams.

Requirements

Essential
  • Excellent UK Employment Law and HR practice knowledge, with 7+ years of HR Generalist experience
  • Experience of supporting teams outside of the UK (e.g. Europe and APAC)
  • Experience in a high growth, scale-up organisation; establishing processes and systems to set the foundation for growth
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to influence and coach managers at all levels
  • Commercially savvy with strong business acumen and the ability to integrate people and business strategies
  • Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating in an fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and high autonomy
  • Proven ability to diagnose problems and provide strategic solutions
  • Change Management and Organisational Development experience
  • Experience in building and strengthening company culture and employee engagement
  • Passion for DEI and doing the right thing
  • Demonstrated experience managing a high performing team

Desirable

  • Experience within Technology Industry
  • Degree and CIPD qualified (or equivalent)
