Associate Producer | London | Permanent

Hutch is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Producer to join the team in London, working on F1 Clash - one of our most successful and popular games. You will be joining an established game team and will work to support the Producer and the team in keeping development on track.

We believe that autonomous teams are best placed to make decisions about the way they work. You will be responsible for helping the team develop and maintain day-to-day processes. You’ll ensure that bottlenecks and blockers are raised and dealt with swiftly - and that team members feel heard and understood.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Producer in running the Agile process - help to run daily stand ups, retrospectives, demos and planning sessions.
  • Help to build and maintain clear data about the team’s velocity.
  • Work with the team to create clear, organised and easily accessible tasks and user stories.
  • Team meeting management - keep meetings relevant and agendas clear, and drive the creation of relevant action points.
  • Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of the project roadmap.
  • Identify and communicate risks to development - and help the team resolve their day-to-day blockers.
  • Reach out and coordinate with other teams (marketing, tools teams, etc.).
  • Help enhance and protect a positive team culture.

Requirements

  • Previous production experience (or equivalent) in video games or software development.
  • A familiarity with Agile and Scrum development processes.
  • Experience using project management tools like Jira, Asana, Monday.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and a genuine interest in the wellbeing of the team.
  • Great written and verbal communication skills.


Bonus points:

  • Experience with Jira is preferred, for task and bug tracking, running sprints and managing workflows.
  • Experience with mobile game development and the Free-to-Play business model.
  • An understanding and appreciation for Lean development principles.
  • An interest in F1!
