We are looking for an Electrical Engineer Automotive Functional Safety engaged via PAYE, to take the next step and join our team. The role can be fully remote, but we would require the occasional travel to HQ in Leamington Spa.
Requirements
We are hiring for three levels, Team leader, Jnr Manager and Snr Manager. The salary reflects the level of experience and is person dependant.
Responsibilities
- Active participation in the Functional Safety Competence Centre following ISO 26262 Standard.
- Development of safety relevant functions from concept phase to the start of production.
- Specification of safety requirements and creation of safety concepts in the area of eMobility, autonomous driving and any safety-relevant systems in the vehicle (e.g. driver assistance systems).
- Creation of safety analyses (HARA; FMEA FMEDA, FTA, DFA).
- Participation in the creation of testing strategies and test cases.
- Building up know-how using a hands-on approach concept to become expert in Functional Safety
About you
- You must have a degree in electrical engineering, vehicle engineering, physics or an equivalent qualification.
- Independent, structured way of working, high quality awareness as well as good understanding of technically complex contexts
- Good communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
- German language is advantageous.
