Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to cover a maternity leave position within our organization. This role is part-time, working three days per week, and requires expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile and Prince2, as well as a background in logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
2. Agile Project Management: Apply Agile methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and adapt project plans as needed.
3. Prince2 Implementation: Utilize Prince2 principles and processes to ensure projects are executed according to best practices. Monitor and control project progress, manage risks and issues, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
4. Team Leadership: Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, and alignment of project objectives. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and motivate team members to achieve project milestones.
5. Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders at various levels of the organization to gather requirements, communicate project progress, and manage expectations. Build strong relationships and effectively address any concerns or conflicts.
6. Logistics Expertise: Leverage your background in logistics to optimize project delivery. Ensure efficient resource allocation, coordinate transportation and distribution activities, and streamline supply chain processes to meet project timelines.
7. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and proactively address any potential roadblocks that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
8. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet established standards. Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably with a focus on Agile methodologies.
• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Project Management) and Prince2 is highly desirable.
• Strong background in logistics, with an understanding of supply chain processes and optimization strategies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities, fostering collaboration and motivation among team members.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify and address project-related challenges effectively.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Note: This role is specifically designed to cover a maternity leave position and will require a commitment of three days per week for the duration of the contract.
