Blockovate is looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer who wants to be part of a proactive, lean, versatile digital team, operating leading international brands in the investing, crypto, stocks, and trading space.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with extremely talented industry enthusiasts, marketers, and directors, building and maintaining a system that directly impacts our company’s revenue.
Role
Blockovate is looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Web Developer to join our team and focus their energy on our internal business system. The system is the engine that powers our business, from partnerships and commercial deals, to marketing analytics, and website amp; user data.
We are looking for someone with fantastic communication skills, who is always happy to help, willing to go the extra mile, and can work independently. This is an extremely varied role that requires excellent prioritisation and organisation skills.
Key accountabilities
- To understand and translate business goals and requirements from cross-functional directors into strategic technical plans and projects
- To build, maintain, and consistently upgrade our internal business system so that it meets the requirements of stakeholders
- To ensure our internal business system is suitable and compatible with all company properties and customer facing assets
- To ensure our internal business system is accompanied by clear technical documentation, processes, and know-how that can be passed on
- To maintain all web, user and internal data that flows through our systems is stored, accessible, and available in an analytics-like-system (e.g lookerstudio)
- To properly manage and organise your own roadmap, time, and deliverables via project management tool Trello
- To clearly and consistently communicate with key stakeholders regarding the status of any project or system at any given time
- To stay on top of technology budgets, keeping costs under control at all times
- To stay on top of required tools, services and subscriptions
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in a similar role
- Experienced in PHP language and Laravel framework specifically
- Experience with Postgres and Redis database systems
- Experience with Vue Js and Nuxt
- Experience developing with NodeJS
- Experience with our preferred tech stack would be considered a valuable bonus
- Experience within previous marketing companies or marketing technologies a bonus
- Experience within affiliate marketing of any kind a bonus
