Job Description

Working as a Senior Digital Account Manager, you'll take a lead role within our client services team, supporting the Business Unit Director and providing guidance and advice to other Account Managers within the team. The account management team provide liaison between ITG and the client, capturing requirements, managing budgets and facilitating delivery of enterprise level projects.
It is the role of the Senior Digital Account Manager to understand the client’s business and the challenges they face in order to represent them within the agency. They are accountable for the management and technical delivery of multiple cross-channel strategic projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Business Unit Director in key client stakeholder meetings (and leading these meetings if the BUD is not present)
  • Acting as the lead account handler for key JLR projects and platforms
  • Taking the lead on larger high-profile projects and coordinates the required teams and resource to support them
  • Supporting internal senior management meetings and liaising with internal department leads on operational processes
  • Acting as an escalation point for the client on the platforms and the projects your direct reports are responsible for
  • Liaising with department leads where necessary to resolve project issues
  • Taking and understanding initial client requirements which can then be fed into the delivery teams for estimation, working with technical leads/specialists where required
  • Working closely with key client stakeholders to ensure projects are kept on schedule and within budget, and expectations are met
  • Work with the technical teams to provide the client with advice on any technical or third party integrations required
  • Understand and help with the removal of any project blockers that require liaison with other client departments or third parties
  • Reports as required on all projects they are responsible for, supporting written documents, client presentations and regular status reports
  • Creates statements of work based on estimations provided by the development team and drives these through the approval process with the client
  • Support maximising new opportunities; identify new business opportunities both retained and non-retained

Requirements

As an experienced Senior Digital Account Manager, we’ll expect that you are naturally able to handle responsibility and pressure to deliver real digital insight, ideas and innovation and ultimately solutions that can transform their business for the better. A good grip on, and real interest in, the technology behind the web is a must. You have consistently demonstrated an ability to deliver and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Digital experience of working as an account manager within a marketing agency / marketing department client side / IT or Software provider
  • Experience of managing web projects preferably with experience of an Agile environment and methodology and demonstration of overseeing successful delivery on complex web projects
  • Excellent client facing, presentation and communication skills
  • Good written, verbal and numerical skills
  • Bright, motivated and driven, with the motivation to lead by example
  • Positive thinker, with a can-do, will-do attitude
  • Enjoy a fast-paced digital agency environment
  • A team player of the highest order who is self-starter and able to make their own decisions
  • To maximise revenue and account profitability
  • Knowledge and experience of compiling and producing reports, project plans, objectives, KPIs for your clients and senior members of staff
  • Able to brief in work to the delivery and development teams
  • Ability to speak with confidence on digital technologies and digital marketing techniques
