CPM Ireland is currently hiring a Team Leader - to work with Vodafone Business.


In addition to the standard responsibilities associated with the SME Inside Sales Executive role on this account, you will have the skills and proven ability to provide coaching and development for an Inside Sales Team, promoting greater team success in so doing.


This is a great opportunity to progress towards Sales Management roles as the successful candidate will flex across their own sales role and responsibilities supporting the Inside Sales team


The winning candidate will be reporting to the Inside Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Primary objective of the role is to secure customer acquisitions in the B2B/SME Sector on behalf of our client Vodafone in a competitive marketplace across a defined territory
  • Align with key campaign commercials as identified in a specific Sales Waterfall model for a listed KPIs including number of calls, DM engagement and presentations made
  • Be able to proactively manage a responsibility to drive the business in your defined territory, primarily through self-generated leads, managing a pipeline and engaging with a CRM system to give appropriate structure.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities. Being the Eyes and ears for our client. Adding value for our client is a key objective of our business
  • Deputise for the Inside Sales Manager on the account during periods of leave. Embrace the opportunity for development
  • Motivating and coaching team members to improve their sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service skills.
  • Adopt best practice to be an effective Coach and enable other peoples success in so doing.
  • Conducting performance reviews and taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Assisting a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and meet business objectives.
  • Tracking and reporting on progress toward agreed team goals.
  • Ensuring that team members are compliant with all company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Energetic focus on continuous improvement. Being open to challenge and relentless in the pursuit of a better way

Essential:

  • At least 12 month’s experience in a Direct Sales Team with a proven track record in overachieving on sales targets
  • Ability to demonstrate core skills required to coach and performance manage team members
  • Prior experience and proven advanced ability in Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Passion for ownership of a process or workstream to deliver success through autonomy
  • Ability to perform in a team environment and on own initiative
  • Previous experience in sales order management, processing and/or reporting
  • Problem solving skills
  • Effective time management and organisation skills
  • Commitment to process and account improvements through constructive critical appraisal of role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with people from all levels within an organisation
  • Ability to verbally express oneself clearly, face to face and by phone
  • Ability to present data, numbers and tables clearly with focus on relevance and clarity

Measures of Success:

  • Achieving sales targets in line with key commercials on the account
  • Delivery of client and CPM KPIs/KBIs as assigned
  • Identify and implement minimum one new way of working per quarter which provides efficiencies and adds value for CPM and Clients
  • Support the sales Team(s) to deliver their sales targets through exceptional order processing, journey flow and connection management
  • Be able to demonstrate how you have supported/enables Team Success
