We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer to join our internal design team within Karo UK.
The Senior Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and impactful designs for our brands across digital and print. Collaborating closely with the design and marketing teams, you will be responsible for creating visual concepts, designs and layouts to communicate ideas and market products effectively. Your primary focus will be on digital design, including web graphics, social media assets, email marketing materials, and digital advertising. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic designer to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
The candidate should possess proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. A solid understanding of design principles, attention to detail and creativity is a must, with a knowledge of branding and marketing, a passion for continuous learning, and a strong portfolio.
Strong communication, project management, and time management skills will be essential for success in this role, as well as having some knowledge / interest in health and wellbeing would be beneficial.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and cross-functional teams to develop visually compelling designs that align with the project objectives and brand guidelines
- Create engaging product visuals, social media assets, email marketing materials, and digital advertising content.
- Develop and execute creative concepts for various campaigns
- Take ownership of assigned design projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digital design to continually enhance design skills and provide innovative solutions
- Collaborate with the creative team to maintain a cohesive and unified visual brand identity across all touchpoints
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for new design ideas and concepts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Senior Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects
- Expert knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of branding and visual identity
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus
- Experience in UI/UX as well as some coding experience is a plus
- Previously working with FMCG projects is an advantage
