Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Operations Assistant is a wide-ranging role, supporting the Senior Business Operations Manager in the EU Merchandising department, across key areas such as B2C (Square Enix Store) operations, Logistics amp; Warehousing, and Special Projects.

B2C (Square Enix Store) operation is ensuring that the Store performs optimally for fans from a Merchandise point of view. This means ensuring Store accurately reflects the product amp; promotional priorities of Square Enix, including global launches, and provides the smoothest possible customer experience.

The Business Operations Assistant will help manage the arrival of new types of products, and special projects according to the needs of the business and the opportunities in European territories.

The role will involve 2 days office attendance. This is a 12-month temporary role.

Requirements

Key Deliverables:
  • Set up and update products on the website
  • Product release and promotion set up on Store
  • Test and monitor potential site errors on mobile and desktop
  • Product asset management
  • Coordinate with in-house translators, prepare FIGS localised product descriptions
  • Support for special projects such as Global product launch, Collectors Editions, new technology and regulatory issues
  • Liaison with SEJ and SEA, for example for special projects, product information
  • Raising Purchase Orders
  • Processing internal orders (e.g., marketing requests)
  • Support for physical merchandise events
  • Create logistics documents such as shipping documents and EC Declaration forms

  • Commercial understanding

  • Japanese speaker
  • Knowledge of Square Enix Merchandise
