DotNet Backend Developer - Near Light (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Dotnet Backend Programmer to help bring our unannounced next-gen VR game to life at Near Light. You will be collaborating with a talented team to help us explore, create, and deliver innovative software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain scalable backend services for our games.
• Collaborate with the team to plan development tasks that will realize a shared creative vision.
• Develop and integrate online technologies that enable multiplayer experiences in VR.
• Build and integrate scalable APIs that connect players around the world.

Requirements

Essential capabilities:

• Experience working with C#, dotnet core, asp.net core to develop web API's and backend services.
• A good knowledge of logging, tracing and metrics.
• An empathetic individual who can collaborate with a multi-discipline team, understanding the needs of the game and exchanging ideas/technical plans with the team.

• Capable of understanding and breaking down complex tasks to produce results efficiently.

Desired experience:

• Experience working with AWS.
• Experience working with containers.
• Experience working with event streaming and message brokers.
