Job Description
It may well be that our clients are the best in their field, but the world needs to know that amongst a sea of competition. It's our (and your) job to ensure that they get noticed, get traffic, and engage with their audiences.
A typical day in this role involves:
- Reviewing site traffic and marketing data, using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and SEMrush
- Using that data to optimise our clients websites and digital marketing activities
- Reviewing and being in control of digital marketing budgets for clients using PPC and paid search
- Setting up and configuring tracking and Google Analytics accounts utilising tools like Google Tag Manager
- Collating data into meaningful reports using tools like Google Looker Studio
- Speaking to and educating our fantastic clients and their internal teams, to ensure they are effective
- Working alongside and as part of our digital, design and PR teams to deliver engaging campaigns across multiple channels
- Training and educating our internal team so that they understand everything that you do to help them and our clients
- Ensuring any pre- and post-go live checks are done to ensure link redirect planning has been followed and is working
Requirements
There are lots of people out there who claim to know what you know. You will stand out from the crowd if you:
- Have multiple years experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush (or similar), Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Looker Studio and that one amazing one we haven't heard of yet that will blow our minds
- Have experience of formulating, creating and managing paid search and SEO campaigns
- Have the ability to explain technical and abstract SEO/search marketing concepts in plain English to our clients
- Are able to estimate the effort required to achieve their requirements so that we can put a price on it
- Create effective content marketing strategies and can work with copywriters and creatives to deliver impactful client content
- Get involved as part of a wider team in showing new clients how knowledgeable you are and why we're worth working with
- Can carry out Search Engine Optimisation tasks quickly and proactively, but ethically and with the end user in mind
- Can handle and shape large amounts of technical data into meaningful and actionable insights
- Possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude and ability to work with a wide range of people
- Manage your own time effectively and realistically
