Job Description

A member of our award winning Internal Comms team will be leaving us shortly to go on maternity leave, which gives you an opportunity to join the team! We are looking for someone to join us on a Fixed Term Contract basis until the end of January, working 22.5 hours per week - this can be spread across 3, 4 or 5 days, whatever works best for you.

In this role you will use your strong writing and content creation skills to deliver messages as part of the communication and content plan. You will engage and attract prospective talent by amplifying Camelot’s Employer Brand in the market through the Camelot website, social media channels and events. The team operates a hybrid working policy, with your time split between our offices in Watford and home working.

  • Planning, managing and executing a regular blog post schedule as the main hub for ‘Inside Camelot’ stories.
  • Managing video production for external Camelot Careers channels and internal only videos to share through Internal Communications channels, both creating videos in-house and working closely with a video agency when needed.
  • Ownership and management of the Camelot Careers social media platforms, driving engagement and followers through daily posting and communication exchanges.
  • Collaborating with the Resourcing team and wider People team to ensure the content calendar aligns with the recruitment and content needs of the business.
  • In partnership with the wider People team and the wider business create and implement Employer Brand campaigns and content for individual business areas.
  • Produce quarterly Employer Brand reports using Google Analytics and other insight tools and use data to inform future actions.
  • Researching and identifying new channels, technologies, trends and external partnerships, seeking opportunities to innovate the process to ensure the best people experience possible.
  • Thinking differently to implement new and engaging internal communication channels eg. Camelot Radio, Podcasts
  • Supporting the wider team to draft internal communications copy when needed

What you'll bring to the table

  • Strong copywriting skills - you know how to tell a story!
  • Content creation and video editing skills.
  • Basic design experience to bring your posts to life (we use Canva).
  • An adaptable and flexible approach.
  • An understanding of how Employer Brand supports the operational recruitment team to have a rich and diverse pipeline of candidates to fill current and future roles.

What we’ll give you

We look after our people. There’s a competitive benefits scheme, 26 days of annual leave and a rather generous pension scheme. Thinking about your health? No probs - we’ll give you access to remote health and wellbeing support - including access to a free digital GP and virtual counselling. We’ll give you all of the kit and tools needed to succeed.

We take your development very seriously. We encourage you to treat every day as a learning day, we offer a series of AMAZING Learning Events throughout the year and you’ll have access to the Camelot Playbook from day one - a guide to help you be your best.
