Acast is looking for Sales Interns to make their first step into a successful sales career!
It is essential for us to make sure that our advertisers and podcasters have the best commercial experience with Acast from the first interaction through to booking and campaign management. Whilst this is not a revenue generating role it’s critical in the optimisation of our sales cycle as well as the retention and growth of our advertising revenue.
About the roleThe Sales Intern will work directly with a range of other members of the Acast Sales Team across a range of pre-sale and post-sale functions as well as with some of the UK’s largest podcasters.
This is one of five 12 month contract roles with the possibility of these becoming permanent positions at the end of the term based on individual and company performance.The successful candidates will work either on the pre-sale (planning) side of the business or the post-sale (campaign management) depending on skill set and interest.
What you'll doInternal Team liaison: working alongside other members of the Sales Operations team (pre-sale and post-sale) as well as Sellers to ensure the smooth planning, booking and execution of a range of different campaigns.
Agency amp; Client liaison: supporting and at times leading on the external conversations that are necessary to plan, set up, deliver and report on a range of podcast campaigns.
Podcaster amp; talent liaison: In time, you will have the opportunity to plan and assist with the management of more complex campaigns comprising of sponsorships (60 of content voiced by the podcast host to promote a brand/ product/ service) and Brand Partnerships (creating bespoke content for a brand) which will see you liaising with some of the biggest podcasters in the UK.
Commercial management: Helping to ensure that all commercial plans and assets are delivered within timelines, so there are no campaign delays, whilst maintaining exceptional relationships throughout with our agencies and clients.
Campaign Reporting amp; Performance: you will provide weekly reports to the agency/ brand to keep them informed of how their campaign is performing amp; troubleshoot alongside other team members to ensure delivery in full. You will need to be able to manage multiple campaigns of varying sizes and complexity simultaneously.
Campaign Analysis: When a campaign has finished, you will assist with creating the post campaign analysis. Providing insight and data on the Post Campaign Analysis presentation creation alongside the Seller and/or Planner or Post-Sale Manager.
Who you areYou are a self-motivated, proactive, creative, desire to learn person who enjoy working as part of a team. You have the ability to prioritize effectively and attention to detail is a key attribute that you have.
