Job Description

The Director of Global Strategic Alliances will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to strengthen partnership and indirect sales through strategic alliance technology partners in our eco system. The main responsibilities is to continue to develop Vizrts strong presence the content production ecosystem and establish alliances with the purpose to expand our footprint and ultimately create a new revenue stream through these partners and technology vendors.

This is a strategic role where a good understanding of the industry, the eco system and technology is key. Success will be driven by working closely with strategic alliances, develop and implement joint business plan supporting Vizrt’s Global Commercial organization revenue growth targets. The candidate will be accountable for the holistic sales management of strategic alliances, encompassing the creation and execution of business plans, as well as driving organization’s performance. The candidate will also work in strong collaboration with other senior leaders in the company in our key accounts organization, global channel sales, global customers success, product management, marketing and revenue operations.

The position has the flexibility to be located in either of the Vizrt's offices in the EMEA region or to work remotely from the East Coast USA.

This role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Responsibilities:

  • You will implement and develop a global strategy, meeting Vizrt Group’s overall strategic goals within this initiative.
  • You will strategically plan, execute and expand the Vizrt's revenue streams through technology partners. This will involve building strong relationships, fostering partnerships, and establishing a sustainable revenue stream.
  • You will identify, evaluate, and establish strategic alliances with key partners, including software vendors, technology companies, system integrators, and industry associations.
  • You will lead negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company goals.
  • You will develop and execute yearly business plan according to company processes and strategic goals. Align the commercial organization's objectives with the Group business strategy through active participation in corporate strategic planning and sales strategy development.
  • You will implement a process with marketing / PR publishing thought leadership press releases with partners.
  • You will travel to attend events such as strategic alliance meetings, tradeshows, corporate events and planning meetings to foster networking opportunities, build relationships, and strengthen industry connections.
  • You will monitor industry and market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • You will develop and execute an organizational business plan to meet aggressive growth targets, profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
  • You will align with Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to implement existing processes and governance mechanisms that enable the monitoring and optimization of performance within the strategic alliance function.
  • You will work closely with Vizrt’s product and marketing teams, ensuring successful outreach and relevance towards strategic partner targets.

Requirements

This position requires working independently, navigating across different departments, and identifying means to achieve the key objectives agreed with the commercial organization leadership team and Vizrt Group general management.

  • You have a BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
  • You have proven track record of at least 5 years in strategic alliance management within the Media amp; Entertainment technology industry
  • You have a very good understanding of content production workflow and vendor ecosystem.
  • You have minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development role within the software industry
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the Media amp; Entertainment technology market, including its current trends and advancements
  • You have demonstrated track record of successfully developing strategic alliances and implementing growth-focused initiatives.
  • You have high-level understanding of technical workflows required for broadcast and professional video workflow, including traditional TV content creation processes
  • You have leadership and strategic capabilities to set a 3-year plan and lead execution through organization
  • You have exceptional listening, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • You have expertise in effectively managing and mentoring fellow leaders
