Wattbike is an exciting brand with a big future, and we’re looking for a CRM amp; Social Community Executive to help deliver our ambitious growth plans!

Wattbike is used by the biggest sports teams and athletes across the Premier League, NFL, national rugby teams and more, as well as thousands of everyday athletes at home.

They all have one common goal: to improve their health and fitness progression.

As our CRM amp; Social Community Executive, you’ll be a key member of the Marketing team, driving revenue and customer acquisition through email and managing content published on organic social media channels. You will be responsible for the segmentation of data, delivery of automated flows and campaigns, and the evaluation of performance against KPIs (conversions, retention, customer lifetime value). This role is for 3 months contract initially with a view to extension

Our HQ is based in West Bridgford in Nottingham and our teams work in a hybrid way, coming to the office as and when needed, and working remotely around that. .


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • In close alignment with the wider Marketing team, you will support the delivery of the CRM strategy focused around commercial growth for D2C and B2B markets.
  • Support and develop the annual email strategy for D2C and B2B with Content Marketing Manager. Work with the Head of Commercial to build new automated flows and campaigns, owning the delivery and success of these projects
  • Own the delivery of D2C automated flows across email including planning, copywriting, post campaign reporting and integrations with other platforms (e.g. MentionMe referral platform).
  • Build effective email campaigns to improve key metrics like open rates and CTR.
  • Work closely with the Creative Studio Manager to write new email creative briefs and email design templates.
  • Champion the use of segmentation to enhance and create new audiences based on the data available, delivering the right message at the right time to our customers.
  • Monitor performance of activity and report back to propose improvements and enhancements to creative and messaging where appropriate. Use insights, data and A/B testing to find opportunities for optimisation.
  • Work with the Content Marketing Manager to plan, schedule and distribute content across owned social media platforms.
  • Keep on top of social trends and make recommendations to wider team to ensure our digital content is of high-quality and reflects our brand tone of voice.
  • Closely work with the product and customer service teams to identify opportunities to optimise conversions and a consistent customer experience across our channels.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be:

  • Experienced in owning and delivering coordinated and growth focused email campaigns and automations from start to finish.
  • Experienced in delivering CRM in an e-commerce or retail business
  • Knowledge or experience using Klayvio is a benefit but not essential
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in managing consumer data
  • Substantial knowledge in CRM segmentation, campaign management, direct marketing, database management and email marketing.
  • Skilled in sourcing, measuring, analysing, sharing and evolving data from a variety of sources.
  • Experienced in managing social media channels and content output across various platforms
  • A passionate, cross-functional and pro-active operator, both remotely and face-to-face
  • Fluent with CRM systems and analytics tools we use Klaviyo
  • Comfortable with challenging the status quo; in asking ‘why’ and ‘why not’.
  • Knowledge of cycling and the wider health and fitness industry
  • Really well organised and able to manage and deliver multiple projects on time.
