What you’ll be doingWe are seeking a Senior Innovation Portfolio Officer to join our growing Performance and Innovation team to support with the set-up and implementation of new systems and processes across our Innovation team.
Working closely with the whole team, you will support the delivery of technical tasks within innovation projects including monitoring and updating the progress of projects, coordinating diaries and preparing meeting materials. Alongside this, you will work closely with the Innovation Portfolio Manager to help gather information for carrying out due diligence for innovation contracts, partnerships or grant giving.
About youYou will be required to manage a busy and varying workload so previous experience within a project management role is essential, ideally within the charity sector. The ability is scope, understand and carry out tasks is a must have as you will be supporting the delivery of various projects.
Additionally, you will be working with colleagues within the Innovation Team but also with key stakeholders across Motability, therefore you will need to be a strong team player with excellent collaborative skills.
MotabilityAt Motability we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year.
We award grants to other charities and organisations who provide different types of transport, or work towards making transport accessible. We also carry out ongoing research, in partnership with disabled people and key stakeholders in the industry, to inspire innovations that continue to champion accessible transport for all.
