The ideal candidate for this KS2 teacher position will have a passion for teaching and learning; possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons to engage learners. KS2 teacher responsibilities
- Developing lesson plans and delivering creative and stimulating lessons to engage learners.
- Assessing and evaluating student progress regularly and providing feedback to students and parents/guardians accordingly.
- Planning and supervising class projects and assignments.
- Collaborating with other educators, as well as parents and administrators, to monitor and support student development.
- Encouraging and promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills within the classroom and the wider school community.
- Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Managing administrative duties such as record-keeping, report card preparation, parent-teacher meetings, and team meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field; teaching certification required.
- A minimum of 2 years of previous teaching experience in KS2 or relevant experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that cater to a range of learning styles.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other educators, as well as parents and administrators.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
