Wayman Education, a leading specialist recruitment agency in the education field, is seeking a Year 2 teacher for a dynamic school in Reigate, Surrey, to start in September. The successful candidate will be joining a team of dedicated educators passionate about inspiring their students in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities
- Teach a year 2 class of approximately 30 students
- Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with the national curriculum
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high-quality teaching standards
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and staff
- Participate in school-wide events, such as meetings and extracurricular activities
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching degree
- Experience teaching Year 2
- An engaging and dynamic teaching style
- Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to continuous professional development
- Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
