• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet the needs of all students
• Use creative and innovative methods to ensure student progress and engagement
• Assess, monitor, and record students’ progress and provide feedback to students, parents and carers
• Establish clear classroom routines and expectations in order to create a positive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure coherent curriculum delivery
• Participate in school-wide events such as parent’s evenings and extra-curricular activities

Requirements

• QTS and a related undergraduate degree in Education
• At least 2 years of experience teaching KS1
• Experience working in an Outstanding or Good Ofsted rated school
• Evidence of excellent classroom management techniques and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to enhancing student learning
• An ability to work well within a supportive team structure.
