- Build features on a product team enabling visually developed asynchronous workflows
- Write performant and accessible UI components (Next.js)
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and product designers in a supportive team environment
- Build and maintain unit and integration tests (Cypress)
- Contribute to best practices, code design considerations, and quality
- Improve our planning, development, and deployment processes to help you and your fellow team members
When you're not contributing to our product team, you'll collaborate with our education team to create curriculums for developers to learn the latest front and back-end skills. We think it's a pretty cool role that has you building and sharing your knowledge. That said, these role responsibilities are just the start! About you
You’ll thrive as a Software Engineer at Memorisely if you:
- Have previous engineering experience in scalable, multi-tenant environments that drive rich front-end experiences
- Have experience with React-based frameworks (specifically Next.js)
- Have strong proficiency using Tailwind
- Are familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Have a good understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Have experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Comfortable sharing your knowledge of coding and experience in educating your team
- Are a brilliant communicator and love sharing good energy with your team
