Miller Davies is currently seeking a skilled and experienced accountant/bookkeeper, with qualifications equivalent to AAT level or qualified by experience.

As an Accountant with Miller Davies, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting needs of a diverse set of clients in conjunction with your colleagues.

You will also be contributing to maintaining operational efficiency and delivering high-quality financial services.

As an accountant at Miller Davies, you will :

  • Produce accounts files for partner review.
  • Handle the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Assist in the generation of management accounting reports.
  • Collaborate with partners and managers to ensure timely compliance with deadlines.
  • Engage in continuous training to stay updated with industry trends and regulations.
  • Prepare accurate work to meet both statutory and internal deadlines.

As a part of your onboarding process at Miller Davies, you will have a 6-month probation period to get acquainted with the team dynamics, familiarise yourself with their systems, and learn about client workflows.

You will have maximum support from your team and will be provided with training opportunities to ensure your success in the role.

Working Time:

This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm within the UK time zone, with half an hour allocated for lunch.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accountancy.
  • Direct communication with clients and team members.
  • The ability to meet statutory and internal deadlines.
