HR Advisor
Up to 35,000
Based in Chippenham (Wiltshire) at least 3 days per week and 2 days in our central Bristol office
Our incredible HR team at Huboo is pivotal in providing the business with support in HR legislation and process in line with best practice.
The team partners across multiple departments and is spread over four countries, mainly based in the South West of England (Bristol and Chippenham).
They are a vibrant mix of personalities and backgrounds and continuously go above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of all humans at Huboo.
As a Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive HR support and guidance to both employees and management. Your role is vital in ensuring that HR policies and procedures are followed, and you will contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience and organizational performance.
Key responsibilities for our HR Advisor:
- Employee Relations:
- Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their HR-related queries and concerns
- Mediate and help to support to resolve conflicts
- Conduct investigations into workplace issues
- HR Policies and Procedures:
- Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees and ensure compliance
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies to align with legal requirements and best practices
- Advise management on HR-related matters, including disciplinary actions and terminations
- Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process by providing guidance to employees and managers
- Training and Development:
- Facilitate training sessions on various HR topics and leadership development
- HR Data and Reporting:
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
- Legal Compliance:
- Stay updated on labour laws and regulations to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements
- Assist in responding to legal inquiries and collaborate with legal counsel when necessary
Requirements
What we look for in our HR Advisor:
- Proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on employee relations and HR policies
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ethical and discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Based in Chippenham (Wiltshire) at least 3 days per week and 2 days in our central Bristol office
