7days Performance is a major online gambling business based in the UK. We are looking for a highly experienced and capable Full Stack Developer Team Lead to lead our dedicated team of developers and engineers. Reporting directly to the CTO, this is a senior executive position for a very high calibre individual with the opportunity to lead amp; work alongside an experienced and talented team of developers and product developers.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have worked on substantial, major projects, with multiple stakeholders in large organisations with a variety of projects alongside each other. You should be versatile and inquisitive with a collaborative mindset. We are looking for a very knowledgeable Senior Technical Lead, who has extensive experience of successfully delivering web-based software products throughout the product life cycle.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate complex ideas clearly to colleagues and have an agile approach.
- Actively take the lead in the specification, development, review, maintenance and deployment of cutting-edge web applications using Symfony, Angular and AWS technology
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including key-stakeholders, product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Architect and implement technical solutions that align with business goals and project requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring code quality, best practices, and performance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Estimation, solution design, detailed technical design, application technical deliverables including code, associated tests and documentation.
Requirements
- Relentless focus on delivering business value through sound engineering methods and principles
- Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to analyse complex technical information and make recommendations for enhancements
- At minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communications skills, minimum near native level English (C1-C2)
Experience:
- Relevant software development experience with a fairly "Full Stack" profile (experience in front-end, back-end, cloud automation and orchestration
- Symfony Framework (PHP) - 5+ years of experience
- Angular Framework (TypeScript) - 3+ years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in planning functionalities for web applications
- AWS (EC2, CodePipeline) - 3+ years of experience
- Task management (at Jira) - 3+ years of experience
- Experience in technical team leadership 5+ years
