TheRole: As a Software Development Engineer in Test at Let’s Do This, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate closely with our engineers and QAs to create and maintain E2E test suites. Your work will contribute to the delivery of high-quality software that our customers expect.
Responsibilities:
Test Automation Develop and maintain end-to-end test automation scripts to validate the functionality and performance of our web applications (we use Cypress)
Test Strategy Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure high levels of quality throughout the product.
Continuous Integration Integrate automated tests into our continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines for early detection of defects.
Bug Detection Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with product teams to ensure timely resolution.
Performance Testing Contribute to performance testing efforts to identify application bottlenecks and areas for optimisation.
Test Maintenance Regularly review and update test scripts to reflect changes in the application's functionality and maintain test suites for reusability.
Test Environment Collaborate with the platform team to ensure the availability and stability of test environments.
Requirements:
(Nice to have) Experience with API and backend testing (we use GraphQL, gRPC and MongoDB).
(Nice to have) Knowledge of other testing frameworks and tools that can be leveraged to further improve quality across the board.
