Job Description


As our Operations Administrator, you will be liaising with colleagues and clients in order to keep on top of our programmes of school support from our head office. Your role will be to arrange training provided by our consultants to schools in venues and online. This will involve strong organisational and diary management skills. You will need to liaise with clients, deal with enquiries, manage diaries, create zoom links, create sessions via our online platforms and share resources with our delegates. Full training will be given.

If you have strong communication skills, a methodical and detail-oriented approach, experience of liaising between different teams and an enthusiasm for improving the quality of children’s education on an international platform, this is the role for you.

Main Duties:

  • Scheduling and coordinating our calendar of training events.
  • Managing our enquiries inbox.
  • Booking consultants and managing the consultant booking process.
  • Booking events with venues and schools.
  • Answering phones and dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Preparing written responses to routine enquiries.
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments.
  • Presenting reports defining progress, problems and solutions.
  • Managing filing systems.
  • Delivering and maintaining a quality service at all times.
  • Carrying out any other admin duties as required by the company.
  • Receiving and converting incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximise revenue.
  • Managing an events schedule to maximise yield.
  • Focusing on a consistently executed up-selling approach.
  • Building strong relationships with customers to fully understand their needs.
  • Ensuring the complete administration and execution of all planned events, packages and subscriptions.
  • Supporting with the organisation and smooth running of our annual conference.

Requirements

Skills amp; Qualifications:

  • Experience of events coordination and/or operations organisation.
  • Relevant Bachelor degree and/or relevant prior experience.
  • Good telephone manner and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the education marketplace is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines.
  • Able to work in a busy office environment that often demands high levels of concentration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Full time based in our Colchester Head Office at the Knowledge Gateway, University of Essex.

Fair consideration will be given to part time working for the right candidate.
