As a Warehouse Manager within Righton Blackburns, you will oversee all aspects of the warehouse operation, managing staff and ensuring efficient and safe handling of materials and products. Requirements
Warehouse Management
In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and inventory management. Proficient in using warehouse management systems.
Planning amp; Organisation
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Communication amp; Collaboration
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with Operations amp; Sales teams.
Health amp; Safety
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including stock management, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse processes, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency.
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse personnel, provide training and coaching to improve performance and ensure job satisfaction.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure adequate stock levels and eliminate waste.
- Collaborate with all departments, including sales and operations to ensure timely delivery of orders and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and maintain regulatory compliance related to warehouse operations.
- Liaise with the warehouse team leader to create shift patterns/scheduling/assignments. Plan and organise the maintenance of vehicles and machinery as required.
- Responsible for the recruitment and induction of team members.
- Ensure vehicles and drivers operate within regulations.
- Liaise with Central Services teams.
