Warehouse Manager - Wellingborough

Our Warehouse Manager

Is responsible for managing our warehouse and ensuring all duties are completed in the timeframes set out by the General Manager. You will be responsible for the following,

  • Receive and count deliveries into our main store.
  • Receiving deliveries for MFS and emailing confirmation of goods received.
  • Arrange Stock Transfers from all stores (stores to engineers)
  • Technical advice with Ansul install and service.
  • Keep warehouse tidy and general housekeeping.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding stock issues.
  • Book in all deliveries received.
  • Notify suppliers of short deliveries or parts issues.
  • Pick van stock for Engineers as requested, via pick lists.
  • Arrange deliveries via couriers.
  • Issue Purchase Orders
  • Manage employees on Kitchensafe and interface builds.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding stock required i.e., new parts.
  • Actively source new suppliers for any parts or tools required.
  • Manage van stock orders for Engineers
  • Organise disposal and waste collection where required of old returned 3-gallon tanks, Nobel cylinders returned from installation’s on site amp; Nitrogen cylinders.
  • Arrange ad-hoc emergency stock deliveries.
  • Unload deliveries received into the warehouse.
  • Organising Consumables orders.
  • Conduct exit inventories of Engineers stock and tools when required.
  • Produce Stocktakes for any parts where issues have been identified.
  • Order new tools where required for new and existing Engineers.
  • Arrange IBC stillage and waste metal collections.
  • Pick, pack and distribute fire Extinguishers.
  • Organising collection of cylinders for blow through tests.
  • Order stock for Kitchensafe builds.
  • Stocktake of selected fast-moving stock.
  • Organise all satellite stores stocktakes.
  • Organise Engineers van stocktakes.
  • Conduct a full warehouse stocktake of all stock yearly.

Requirements

Who We’re Looking For

In addition to having all the usual attributes of a great Marlowe Kitchen Fire Suppression employee, such as; a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, well presented and professional at all times, ability to work alone and as part of a team.. For this opportunity, we are specifically looking for candidates who offer:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in using warehouse management software and MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
  • Must be able to problem solve and work under pressure.
  • Full Drivers Licence.
  • A counterbalance forklift license would be an advantage, however we can arrange training for the right candidate.
