FE fundinfo is a global leader in investment fund data and technology. We are proud of our vast, diverse, and highly skilled team, who help to make our industry Better Connected and Better Informed. We are currently recruiting for a Head of Product Marketing to join our team in London, UK.

The Marketing Team are responsible for elevating the company brand and message, taking products and services to market and driving revenue through demand generation.

Working closely with Sales, Account Management, Product and Delivery teams, we help define customer propositions, run campaigns to take them to market and promote our teams of experts in the wider industry.

We champion and showcase the client voice and ensure all touchpoints a client has with us represent the company brand and its values.

As the Head of Product Marketing, you will play an integral role in driving the success of our product and service offerings by developing and executing strategic marketing plans. Your expertise in translating technical capabilities into compelling value propositions, combined with your deep understanding of the financial services industry, will be instrumental in positioning our solutions as the fund industry's preferred choice.

Requirements

Your key responsibilities as a Head of Product Marketing will be to:

  • Develop clear and impactful messaging that highlights the unique value and benefits of our software and services for asset managers, wealth managers, and financial advisers.
  • Create differentiated positioning that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates our solutions' competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product/offering launches and updates.
  • Define target customer segments, identify key use cases, and develop ideal customer profiles and related buyer personas.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Utilize insights to guide product roadmap decisions and refine marketing strategies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving and highly regulated industry.
  • Create compelling content, including product collateral, sales presentations, case studies, and thought leadership materials, to support demand generation and sales efforts.
  • Ensure that all content is tailored to address the unique pain points and aspirations of our target audience.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to equip them with the necessary tools and resources to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to clients and prospects.
  • Develop training materials, product guides, and objection-handling resources to enhance the sales process.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and demand for our products.
  • Work with marketing team to leverage various marketing channels, such as digital marketing, events, webinars, and content marketing, to reach and engage the target audience.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly analyse campaign performance, gather insights, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Drive win/loss program to inform go-to-market and product strategies.

To join us as a Head of Product Marketing you will need the following experience and skills:

  • You must have proven experience in product marketing within the financial services, fintech, or investment industry.
  • You must have strong understanding of asset management, wealth management, and financial advisory ecosystems.
  • You must have an excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technical features into compelling value propositions.
  • You must be a strategic thinker with a track record of developing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • You must have data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse and interpret marketing performance metrics.
  • You must be a collaborative team player who can work cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
  • You must have proficiency in leveraging various marketing channels, including digital, events, and content marketing.
  • Ideally you will have Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
