TOCA Social is the world's first dining and entertainment experience with a football twist, and it’s set to change the game! We are looking to build a team of hospitality focused individuals with a passion for taking care of people first.

We’re creating a whole new way to come together to eat, drink and play! Our games are unique and accessible, designed for people of all ages and abilities and our modern Americana world-class food and drinks menu has been designed by a top Michelin trained creative chef.

Our modern venue offers our guests the best experience including:

  • Eat, drink and play like never before in their own personal booth!
  • Fun and interactive football-based games designed for all skillsets, even those who have never kicked a ball!
  • 17 personal playing booths, 3 stylish bars, selfie booths and multiple photo moments, plus an incredible decadent mouth-watering dessert room!

We launched our first venue at The O2, Greenwich in 2021 and have confirmed our first international opening in Mexico 2024, along with our second UK based venue in Birmingham! We aim to have 30 venues within the UK in the next ten years, in parallel to overseas expansion (US, Mexico, Europe and beyond).


ABOUT YOU

This Captain will work closely with all teammates and the venue Leadership team to oversee the day to day operations and the entire Teammate and Guest experience. This role is crucial in ensuring teammates are fully equipped to deliver world class experiences and will be the go-to person to enhance our operations.

  • A hands on operator, willing and able to fully support the team and the venue Leadership team
  • A confident amp; inspirational people focused teamplayer, with a keen eye for detail with a hospitality mindset
  • Have a vibrant presence on the venue floor and be visible for all guests and teammates, ready to step in whenever needed whilst always having a warm and friendly disposition about you
  • Ability to work under pressure and at pace to meet time-critical requirements to secure a guest centric environment with an ability to think on your feet

THE ROLE

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting seamless operations and experiences for all teammates and guests
  • Managing teammates to ensure everyone is working towards individual and company targets, aware of their responsibilities and are shift ready
  • Providing additional support to all teammates and venue Leadership team
  • Coaching teammates at all times to ensure world class experiences are continuously delivered
  • Providing constructive feedback and bridging any gaps you spot, escalating queries to the venue Leadership team in a timely fashion
  • Owning shift allocations and breaks for the team throughout the day
  • Support the onboarding and training of all new and existing teammates, having a presence at our TOCA Talent Events and getting stuck in
  • Spotting where support is needed at all times and being hands on with bringing the team together
  • Supporting and leading VIP/high profile events, working closely with the Events and Marketing teams to relay information to teammates, creating awesome guest experiences
  • Owning a section/department of the venue at popular times, delivering 360 experiences and being able to perform all venue job role responsibilities
  • Continuously communicating and feeding back all things venue and people related to the venue Leadership team, e.g. stock levels, teammate performance, standards and processes
  • Taking ownership of daily reporting and follow-ups with venue Leaders
  • Taking on additional responsibilities from your Leader and ability to delegate to others to upskill teammates
  • Taking the lead of new initiatives, spotting opportunities and putting them into practice
  • Working closely with the the venue Leaders to enhance team morale and culture, implementing and supporting with team events and competitions
