Job Description

Reports to: Account Director / Senior Account Director

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Digital Account Manager at GCI Health, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders, helping the wider digital team to build the account’s digital capability and engage and inspire audiences to act.

You’ll manage day-to-day and long-term activities and projects, participating in digital communications (paid social, social listening and analytics, community management) strategy planning, execution, and measurement activities to meet clients’ objectives. We’ll look to you to be our key coordinator, liaising seamlessly between junior account staff and the senior digital and account team leads. An important part of this role involves immersing yourself in social and digital media, which requires research to arrive at key insights that can be creatively expressed across multiple channels. You’ll help us ensure that audiences experience our clients’ brands consistently, at all touchpoints, to drive the greatest impact.

In addition to your account role, you will also take on the responsibility of helping the digital team upskill the account teams on all things social and digital. This will range from creating training decks to running training sessions and contributing topical news to our Social Media Teams channel, as well as taking ownership of the digital folder within the CSE toolkit, adding relevant and best practice documents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Media: You will have a comprehensive and current understanding of the digital and social media landscape (including social platforms, social media advertising, social media analytics and technology, influencer marketing, web,) current affairs, client organisations, key health knowledge and GCI Health London’s business proposition. You will demonstrate a willingness to continuously educate yourself on the digital media tools available and how to incorporate them into client programmes

Internal training: You will support in digital related training sessions for GCI Heath London and help equip the team with social/digital skills needed for successful integrated healthcare communications programmes.

Campaign Planning amp; Management: You will be an active contributor to the generation of creative ideas and strategies that deliver against the digital communications objectives for each of your clients and oversee the day-to-day delivery of all supporting activity to the highest standard.

Client Management: You will establish multiple relationships within client organisations including members of the PR, Marketing, Medical and Regulatory teams.

Content Development: You will develop and advance your writing skills for both social and digital audiences, including the ability to understand the role of and apply various forms of content creation e.g. long and short form, ad-driver vs organic. You will also have an advanced understanding of content distribution strategies and how to drive campaign engagement or activation.

Presentation amp; Facilitation: You will continue to develop and build on your presentation skills, which will be applied internally with teams and externally with clients, prospects and other audiences.

Financial Reporting: You will demonstrate comprehensive, accurate and timely timesheet entries, ensuring that all client activity is professionally recorded by the end of each week. You will support in the development and management of client budgets.

Networking amp; Business Development: You will establish and grow strong networks of valuable contacts outside of the social and blogging communities to leverage with clients and for business development purposes.
