Job Description
We’re FuturLab, the award-winning game studio behind PowerWash Simulator, the Velocity series, Peaky Blinders Mastermind, and many more awesome games.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and intuitive Senior QA Tester to work on a number of FuturLab titles. You will be methodically playing the game to find bugs and refine the user experience. This role also involves maintaining the bug database, entering new issues, and confirming fixes.
This will be a 12-month fixed term contract role and will need to work from our sunny seaside office in the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove with the possibility of transitioning to a hybrid working setup post-probation. Requirements
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have a sharp eye for detail.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and an aptitude for problem solving.
- Experience with all PC and console gaming platforms.
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans.
- 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience in games.
- Willing to work in our Hove office.
Advantageous
- Previous experience in a relevant field, particularly QA, programming, or game design.
- Experience with Microsoft, Sony amp; Nintendo certification requirements.
- Experience supporting and mentoring junior members of the QA team.
- A good understanding of the game development process.
- A keen intuition and self-driven individual.
- Experience supporting and mentoring junior members of the QA team.
- Experience co-ordinating internal and external QA teams.
- At least one title supported from concept to release.
