Warehouse Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join an extremely reputable, family-run SME based in Aldridge. As a Warehouse Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the warehouse department and will manage all warehouse operations.

To be successful in this role you must be a strong leader with effective organisational skills. You will be responsible for stock management, lean management principles, implementing new systems and stock movement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of a Warehouse Manager:

• Oversee the supervision of daily activities of the warehouse, including: quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, and accurate record-keeping.

• Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to achieve high performance standards
• Implement training programs and best working practices to improve overall efficiency and safety
• Complete all work in line with company policies, procedures and current legislation
• Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehousing operation contributes to these
• Warehouse maintenance and Health and Safety compliance
• Implementing new systems, policies and procedures
• Lean management principles

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Experience with logistic management
• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Outstanding communication skills
• Health and Safety Qualifications
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures and policies
• Experience in implementing new procedures, systems and policies

Working hours: Monday-Friday 06:00-16:30
