We’re looking for a Head of Product Marketing to join us as maternity leave cover, as we build on our ambition to help many more customers lead a healthy financial life. This is an opportunity to lead on the product marketing strategy for our personal and business bank, managing a team to achieve our growth and customer engagement objectives. You’ll be responsible for launching new products, features and propositions. You’ll also lead on all integrated product campaigns and be accountable for the performance. Collaboration is key to success and you’ll work closely with teams across the business to bring product marketing to life!

Requirements

  • Determine the product marketing strategy for our personal and business bank, in order to achieve our growth and engagement objectives.
  • Develop the identity, target audience, value proposition, messaging, positioning, journeys and marketing approach for our core products and features.
  • Work with the management team to centrally plan all brand and product marketing activity, meeting regularly to adapt plans based on performance and business priorities.
  • Responsible for the go-to-market strategy of new products, features and propositions. Working closely with our product, banking and operation teams.
  • Lead on the planning and performance of multi-channel product marketing campaigns, to drive acquisition and value for the business.
  • Own product marketing performance. Use MI tools to analyse; product uptake and usage, customer insights, channel performance and product awareness and consideration. Use data to inform strategy and optimisation. Produce regular reports for the wider business.
  • Utilise marketing channels as levers to ensure we stay on track to reach our product marketing goals for growth and engagement.
  • Conduct product competitor and market analysis, to provide context to performance and influence the product marketing strategy.
  • Carry out research, user testing and analyse internal data to discover audience insights that will shape the product marketing strategy and influence the product roadmap.
  • As product marketing experts, your team will be a key stakeholder in how our product is portrayed in brand activity and be the product representative in key projects.
  • Collaboration is essential. You’ll be part of a wider team and work closely with brand, channel owners and our creative agency to bring product marketing activity to life and achieve results.
  • Build a strong network across the bank and work closely with teams such as; product, banking, data, compliance, legal, operations and customer service.
  • Be comfortable with working at pace and in an agile environment, to adapt to business priorities and the rate of product developments.
  • Champion new ideas to drive growth and achieve profitability. Look for ways to continually improve our approach to product marketing.
  • Key marketing contact for third parties, such as Mobile Wallet providers, seeking out opportunities with them and driving customer engagement.
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices and developments in marketing.
  • Manage a team of 2x direct reports.

Requirements

  • Experience working in financial services. The ability to work well with people that have a strong engineering and data background.
  • Line management experience and confident in matrix management of a large team for product marketing launches and campaigns.
  • Proven achievements driving customer growth, revenue and marketing performance.
  • A strategic and creative thinker who is able to make rapid, data-driven decisions and develop marketing strategy within a fast-paced, high-growth business.
  • 8+ years marketing experience, with hands-on experience across a breadth of marketing channels.
