We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Lead to join our business unit in Amersham. Within this role, your responsibility for the daily, weekly and monthly finance tasks with support from the Finance Assistant. A varied role working on high volume reconciliations across multiple bank accounts. In addition responsible for various daily tasks, including query handling and investigating further information from third parties e.g. insurance companies

Requirements

Principal responsibilities and tasks:

  • Bank Book, Cheque and Credit Card reconciliations
  • Manage Weekly amp; Monthly processes including internal transfers and payments to clients
  • Manage refund process
  • Collating and reconciling weekly cheques received
  • Daily bank book allocation · Daily download of payments received from on-line banking
  • Manage finance inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Prepare customer invoices on a monthly basis
  • Accurate date input into company software system
  • Prepare customer invoices on a monthly basis
  • Creating Purchase Orders and supplier payments
  • Monitoring multiple bank accounts
  • Resolving discrepancies
  • Ad hoc duties as per business objectives


Essential Competencies:

  • Part qualified or QBE in Accounting
  • Accountability for task completed
  • Excellent numerical ability
  • Exceptional attention to detail highly accurate
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
  • Competent IT ability experienced in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Desirable - Experience in Private Healthcare would be an advantage
